Hello Dancers,

This Saturday, April 26 – Susan Taylor calls to Devine Comedy with Steve Hickman, fiddle; Marty Taylor, wind instruments; and John Devine, guitar. Come on out and enjoy a night of dancing. This band has been at it since the very beginning of contradancing in our area. The comedy part comes in with the caller... If you don't know what I mean by that, you will just have to see for yourself.

Note: this is the only appearance by the Gardeners this weekend in the D.C. area.

Come on out and join in the fun!

Notes: Our hall is heated or air-conditioned as needed, and we serve a snack at the break.

The dance is held at Trinity School near the Keys Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick. Free dance workshop starts about 7 p.m., and the dance runs from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Refreshment are served at the break.

June 28 – Atlanta’s Cis Hinkle calls to Hotpoint Stringband, from Athens, Ohio - Mark Burhans, fiddle; Hilarie Burhans, clawhammer banjo; Marlene Shostak, piano; Mark Hellenberg, percussion; Nick Weiland, bass.

July 26 – From Oregon, Elinor Preston calls to Out of the Wood from Idaho - Kathy Bowman, fiddle; Pat Marron, fiddle, mandolin, banjo; Vickie Marron, piano.
