Celtic Fiddle & Feet

This unique concert showcases French-Canadian, Irish, and Scottish fiddle styles in a lively evening of music and dance. The dynamic trio from Montreal, Genticorum plays a rich Quebecois repertoire of captivatingly-crooked traditional and original tunes and songs on fiddle, flute, guitar, bass and percussive feet. Scottish fiddler Laura Risk, Ken Koldner on hammered dulcimer, and Celtic guitar wizard Robin Bullock, once known as the trio Greenfire, will again combine their talents to play a dynamic repertoire including Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton and French Canadian music. Joined by step dancer Kieran Jordan and Irish fiddle whiz, Cleek Shrey, this evenings concert is guaranteed to delight the audience and warm the cockles of any Celtic heart. Co-sponsored with Upper Potomac Celtic Weekend. At Harpers Ferry Jr. High School.

Learn to play Irish, Scottish & French Canadian music in intensive daytime workshops on fiddle, flute, tenor banjo, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, song, session repertoire, stepdance and more in a weekend-long residential program at the Historic Hilltop House Hotel in Harpers Ferry, WV.
The Upper Potomac Celtic Fiddle & Feet weekend is a new program combining three traditions of Celtic music and brings together eight great musicians to teach lessons, lead jam sessions, and to play for a Ceili dance and concert in this lovely rural setting. The weekend classes start Friday, November 16 at 11AM and end Sunday, November18 at noon.
