Want to keep updated on Shepherdstown Music & Dance events? Make sure you have entered your current email at http://smad.us/mail/. We will send out notice of newsletters, concert series, e-minders for upcoming events, and any schedule changes (remember the snows of 2010?). You do not need to be a member to be on this list. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Don't need paper copies of the newsletters or concert brochure? These are sent out to members only. Email Joanie at updf@earthlink.net with a subject line of Newsletter, so that we can simplify our mailing process.

Are you a member of Shepherdstown Music & Dance? Next time you come to a dance or concert, check to make sure that your membership is active. New and renewing members pay only $15/yr or $25/2 yrs for a single membership or $25/yr or $40/2 yrs for a family. You can renew when you purchase tickets or admission to any event or by mail. Details are on the membership page at: http://smad.us/contacts. Your membership reduces your costs at the events you attend, a savings of $5/concert and $3/dance, so it pays for itself quite quickly. And you have the added satisfaction of supporting traditional music and dance in our area. Members also will receive paper copies of the newsletter and concert series brochure in the mail, unless you email Joanie (updf@earthlink.net) to opt out.

We welcome larger, tax deductible donations to help support our programs in these challenging economic times... consider being a “folk hero” ($50 donation) or underwriting one of our concerts or special events. Talk to Joanie or Diane at a dance or concert if you are interested in supporting Shepherdstown Music and Dance with a substantial contribution and we can acknowledge your donation publicly in publicity or announcements should you wish it. We have lots of opportunities that are enticing but risky, and a little more support might make them a reality.

Finally, our friends at the Berkeley Arts Council have some September goodness planned and asked us to share their news with you. Enjoy! http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?llr=ozu456cab&v=001qGZo6GH_pRSMAUYTbmMThKlYpBzDcEPQxJNu4NgZs3GG12n178fe0K9lG53UmW84JkZHGfTXT3mXNrAl7KGWlVJjtUrnZ1tr0TT9A_-hPXg%3D

See you soon!
