Other useful information for Almost Heaven
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Some people like to dress up for the Sunday night dance.
- Possibility of cool or cold weather. Evening temperatures
can fall into the forties.
- Two great dance spaces for evening dances and daytime workshops.
- Great music and teaching staff. Lots of fun.
- Meeting new friends and catching up with old ones.
ACCOMMODATIONS
- All cabins have electricity. Showers, toilets, and
wash facilities are usually in the same building.
- Cabin assignments are made the week camp begins. Yours will
be available at check-in.
- Tenters are also assigned cabin space.
- Most cabins are dormitory style for about eight people, including
empty bunks assigned to tenters.
- Some cabins are available for dancers with special accommodation
needs.
FOOD
- If you have special dietary needs, please bring your own
food.
- A refrigerator, located in the dining area, is
available to all campers.
- If you have any questions about foods you may be allergic
to, write to kappylan at aol.com.
CAMP RULES
- Parents of young children must arrange for their supervision at
all times.
- Swimming and canoeing are permitted only while a lifeguard is on duty.
- Pets, smoking, and loud electronic devices are not allowed.
CAR POOLING
- We keep
lists of people who indicate they can give a ride or desire one.
To be added to a list, please indicate your desire on your
registration form. Registered dancers may request a copy of
either list by emailing AlmostHeaven2010 at yahoo.com.
